TORONTO SILENT FILM FESTIVAL
For the 2017 Toronto Silent Film Festival (TSFF), I helped create Instagram’s first jigsaw puzzle by utilizing the new “save” feature. This allowed users to un-scramble a digital jigsaw puzzle. The object of the challenge was to put the poster back together in order to reveal the 2017 film line up.
Followers of the TSFF account were encouraged to complete the puzzle for a chance to win a full-size poster. The account attracted participants from 15 countries around the world. The campaign won Silver in Best Digital Engagement for the International Epica Atomic Advertising Awards show.

The :10s Instagram spots create a live mirrored effect of different vehicle parts. My inspiration came from kaleidoscope distortions and reflections. I wanted to create unrecognizable forms out of the featured vehicle.

These video animations accompanied radio spot dialogue speaking to the Canadian hockey community. They were designed to help push sales for a Toronto-based business, Babsocks. I hand drew the illustrations and brought the animation to life with the use of Adobe Creative Suite. Red Lion collaborated with The Toronto Sports Network (TSN) and they provided us with Toronto Radio Host legend, Joe Bowen for the voice overs. The animations were featured on social channels like Facebook and Instagram.
The stills below are some examples of the social media marketing I created throughout the year for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
THE BRAIN PROJECT
More than 100 brain sculptures were displayed across the city in order to raise awareness on Alzheimer’s. The campaign was designed in partnership with Baycrest and The Brain Project. The initiative included art from an array of celebrity participants such as Wayne Gretzky, Mila Mulroney and Peter Mansbridge, not to mention the numerous established and emerging Canadian talent. My colleagues and I created video, print and digital creative assets for various media platforms. Baycrest raised over a million-dollars’ worth of funding in 2017.
Below are examples of the different types of creative I worked on.
